Andrew E. Yaskanich

Andrew E. Yaskanich, of Grahamsville, passed away at home with his family at his side on Friday, March 11, 2016. He was 69 years old. Andrew was born in Liberty, NY to John and Marilla Briggs Yaskanich on September 3, 1946.

Andy worked in maintenance for many different places over the years. He loved all things out doors, especially hunting and fishing. He enjoyed watching game shows and old westerns. Most of all Andy enjoyed helping people, He would do anything for anyone. He loved seeing people happy.
Andy leaves behind his brothers John and James Yaskanich both of Liberty, His sisters Ethel Powell of Madera, CA, Mary Yaskanich of Monticello, and Helen and her husband Edward Bound of Grahamsville, along with many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers Edwin, Roy, William and Dwight.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 17, from 7 to 9 pm at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne NY 12788. A funeral service will be held in Andy’s honor on Friday, March 18, at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will take places in the spring at Liberty Cemetery.
