Russell Briggs, of Monticello, passed away suddenly on Tuesday February 23, 2016 in Ellenville, NY. He was 55. The son of the late Russell and Eleanor Busche Briggs, he was born on May 17, 1960 in Norton, Mass. Russell worked for many years as a truck driver for various trucking companies. He recently was a self-employed landscaper. Russell was a US Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Briggs from whom he is separated; sons, Ryan Briggs and his fiance, Amanda White, Russell Sayler and Shane Saylor; daughters, Jennifer Sayler and Stacia Anderson and her husband Chris; grandchildren, Russell, Maxwell, Alannah, Alyssa and Mackenzie-Quinn, a sister, Bonnie Davignon-Briggs and his girlfriend, Jeanne Bautista. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Cheryl Fedelia.
Memorial Military Services will be held at a later date.
