Delbert Rundle

February 17, 1941 — April 29, 2025

A Cowboy named Delbert Rundle put on his hat, saddled up his horse and rode off to heaven on April 29, 2025, to be with his wife Geraldine.
He was born on February 17, 1941, in Eldred, NY, to Delbert and Ebba Rundle who predeceased him along with his brother Paul, sister Linda, and wife Geraldine.
He is survived by his children William (Suzette), Todd, Linda (Jimmy) and Nicci (Paul) and five grandchildren Arron (Melanie), Emily, Michael, Cody, Sarah and one brother William. His furry friends Jack and Shadow will miss the home cooked meal he shared with them.
Delbert briefly served in the United States Navy and was a true American. He was a very friendly man who loved having conversation with friends and random people he crossed paths with. He was always humming a tune or two and was a true cowboy. There is no western he hasn’t seen with his favorites being John Wayne and Gun Smoke. He raised five children with what little he was able to give. As time went on the grandkids came and there were flea markets, yard sales and county fairs. He loved the Amish Country spending many vacations in Lancaster PA with his wife Geraldine.
There will be no services for Delbert as he was a private man who kept his circle small. The ones he loved know how much they meant to him, and we know what he meant to all of us and that is all that matters.
Arrangements were under the care of Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, for further information please call 845-434-7363.
