Kenneth Robert Doerr, a resident of Mongaup Valley, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY. He was 71 years of age and was born on October 18, 1945 in Yonkers, NY.
He was a Vietnam Army Veteran serving his country from 1964 to 1966. He was a building maintenance mechanic, having worked at Entemann's in Bayshore, NY and most recently at Achieve Rehab & Nursing Facility in Liberty, NY.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Cooney Doerr at home; sons, Patrick Doerr of Hancock, NY and Robert Doerr of Tennessee; daughter, Melissa Tullino and her husband Jeremiah of Monroe, NY and grandchildren, Stephanie Doerr of Hancock, NY, Andrew Doerr of Binghamton, NY and Anthony, Nathaniel and Mason Tullino of Monroe, NY.
Visiting hours are on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 7 - 9 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 3534 Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY. Funeral services will be on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Sunset Lake Rd. Liberty, NY.
