Marianne Michaud, passed away August 6, 2024 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by people who loved her just short of her 82nd birthday.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph Michaud and Hannah Klein, born on August 9, 1942 in Bronx, NY.
Marianne has lived at New Hope Community since 2009 and was a familiar face of comfort in the 308 home. Marianne loved her routines and enjoyed the simple comforts of life such as relaxing in comfortable clothing with her gum to chew and her boxes of blocks. She was best known for her lively and colorful spirit. Although soft spoken she was adept at making her thoughts known. She loved music and singing, “Happy Birthday” being one of her favorite songs to sing. Marianne will be fondly remembered and always missed.
She leaves behind her sister Jeanne Michaud and brother Robert Michaud; as well as her friends and extended family at New Hope Community.
There will be a celebration of Marianne’s life at her home at 308 Stupell Circle at a later date.
