Aaron Arthur Kiss, of Monticello, NY, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the Montrose Veterans Hospital in Montrose, NY. He was 86. The son of the late Samuel and Mollie Lutsky Kiss, he was born on May 7, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY. He was predeceased by his wife, Myrna Gersten Kiss, who passed away on January 12, 2010.
He was a US Navy Veteran, having served from 1948 to 1952 and was a member of the Jewish War Veterans. He was a retired lumber salesman for Fallsburg Lumber Co. in South Fallsburg, NY.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Alan Lee and Adele Kiss of Monticello; two granddaughters, Mollie Rath and her husband Kevin of Middletown, NY and Melissa Eberhardt and her husband Christopher of Schenectady, NY and four great-grandchildren, Meghan and Logan Rath and Sophie and Luke Eberhardt.
Graveside services and Military Services will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 10 AM at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Sunset Lake Rd. Liberty, NY.
Funeral arrangements are by Ramsay's Funeral Homes Inc. Monticello, NY.
