Abby Margolis Magee, 65 of Monticello, New York passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2025 at Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, after a long illness.
Born to the late Hyman and Dorothy Margolis, anybody who knew Abby knew that she would give you the shirt off her back, and she raised her three children to be the same way. Abby was an active bingo player, and in her younger days you could find her playing Bingo all the time. She made sure she was there and sometimes even doing a double header. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Sister. She loved her grandchildren and her children dearly, and would do anything for them, as they were the center of her world. She had an unbreakable bond with her sisters and cherished their relationship.
Abby was always interested in her extended family and friends and would be selfless in always asking questions and keeping up with the happenings of each family member.
Abby was preceded by her husband Michael Magee of Monticello, New York, her son Shaun Magee of Monticello New York, and a sister Roberta Nolan of Middletown, New York. She leaves behind a daughter, Shannon Magee of Tampa Florida, a son Adam Magee of Monticello, New York, a daughter-in-law, Amanda Magee of Monticello, New York. Her four grandchildren Alexis Magee, Hailey Magee, Brayden Magee, and Aubree Magee all of Monticello, New York. Her Devoted sisters Toby Margolis Graber, Ila Margolis Weintraub and Burton, Susan Margolis Lederman and Gary, Bonnie Margolis Chance and George, and her brother, Eric Margolis and Doris. Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of her cherished family. We will all miss her beautiful Soul.
