Alphonsus Collins
Liberty, NY
Alphonsus Collins, 66, a longtime area resident, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY. He was the son of the late William Collins and Catherine O'Driscoll Collins and was born in New York City on February 4, 1951.
Survivors include his companion of 23 years, Eileen Shapiro, at home; his wife, Rosemarie Pistone Collins of Monticello, NY; his daughter, Ann Marie Rundle of Monticello, NY; his son, Sean Collins and his wife Jamie of Bariboo, Wisconsin and two grandchildren, Victoria Collins and Aiden Collins, both of Wisconsin.
Alphonsus was predeceased by his parents and his brothers, John Collins, James Collins and Monsignor William Collins.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no visitation and cremation will take place at Cedar hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to his favorite charity: St. Judes Research Hospital - Tribute Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942
