Arline Phillips, 84, of Black Lake, NY passed away on Friday December 28, 2012 at the Orzac Center in Valley Stream, NY.
The daughter of the late Jacob and Reba Rabinowitz Reep, she was born on April 6, 1928 in New York City. She was predeceased by her husband James D. Phillips who died on April 20, 2006.
Arline was a teacher and guidance counselor in Monticello Central School District and was a program coordinator and grant writer for Sullivan County BOCES.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandy Stewart of Putnam, NY and Roberta Schroder and her husband Michael of Garden City, NY; three grandchildren, Keith Karchner, Allison Schroder and Jared Schroder and one great-grandson, Spencer Goldstein.
Visitation will be on Sunday December 30 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 3534 State Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY. Funeral services will commence at 2 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Evergreen Cemetery, Route 17B, White Lake, NY.
