On April 16th, 2020, Dr. Benoni J. Harris of the Bronx passed away at Kings Harbor Multicare Center. He was 89 years old.
Benoni was born in Sierra Leone to Jackious Harris and Christina Spencer on July 8, 1930. He received a Doctorate and was an engineer by profession. He is survived by his loving son, Aderemi Harris, his sister, Oliva Harris, extended family, his brethren at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and many others who knew and cared for him.
Benoni will be laid to rest at a private burial at (yet to be confirmed). A memorial service will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
