Brett Stevens

April 21, 1995 — May 8, 2025

Brett Stevens, 30, of Bethel, New York, passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 2025. Born on April 21, 1995, in Middletown, Brett was the beloved son of Roberta “Bobbi” Horton Reynolds.

Brett was a man full of life, known for his quick wit, warm heart, and unforgettable sense of humor. He was truly the life of the party, and people were naturally drawn to his magnetic personality. Making new friends came easily to Brett, and once you were his friend, you were family.

He loved being outdoors—especially when the weather was warm—and found joy in working with trees. Brett also had a passion for cooking and was happiest when helping his mom “feed the hippies,” a tradition filled with love and laughter. Giving his time to others came naturally to him, and his generosity left a lasting impact on many.

Brett adored his family. He was a devoted uncle to his three nephews, Lance, Chayton, and Caleb, who loved him dearly. Although he didn’t get to spend as much time with his daughter as he wished, he loved Colby Rose Stevens deeply and held her close to his heart.

Brett is survived by his mother, Roberta “Bobbi” Reynolds; his daughter, Colby Rose Stevens; his siblings, Lance Stevens Jr. and his wife Luz, Kyle Stevens and his wife Kristen, and Sara Stevens and her companion Zachary Pachico; his nephews Lance Stevens III, Chayton Seeley, and Caleb Pachico; his girlfriend, Gina Douglas; and his step-siblings Robert Reynolds Jr. and his wife Kim, Deborah Michele, and her husband Donald and Erin Reynolds.

He was predeceased by his stepfather, Robert “Bucky” Reynolds, and his grandparents, Alfred and Barbara Horton.

Brett's laughter, love, and larger-than-life spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
