Bruce LaPolt Jr., a lifelong Sullivan County resident, died suddenly on Tuesday April 1, 2014 in Monticello, NY. He was 42. The son of Bruce LaPolt Sr. and Anne Stabak LaPolt, he was born on May 16, 1971 in Harris, NY.

Bruce was a Union Mason and a kind-hearted free spirit. He loved his daughter dearly. His passion was to play the guitar and make music.

He is survived by his mother, Anna LaPolt of Monticello; his daughter, Brooke Lee LaPolt of Newburgh; his brother, Brian LaPolt and his wife Talia of Monticello and his nephew, Bronson LaPolt. He was predeceased by his father, Bruce LaPolt Sr.

Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY.

Memorial services will be held on Monday April 7, 2014 at 1 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 55 St. John St. Monticello, NY.
