Carlton A. Kelly, a longtime area resident, passed away at his home in Rock Hill, NY on Friday December 20, 2013. He was 56. He was the son of Wiley and Mary Frances Lynch Kelly and was born on February 6, 1957 in Homestead, FL. Carlton was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Rock Hill, NY.
He leaves behind his mother, Mary Marl of Ellenville; sons, Dylan Kelly and wife Sarah of Cherry Point, NC, Travis Kelly and Justyn Kelly, both of Rock Hill; daughter, Sarah Kelly of Rock Hill; sisters, Leah Porter and husband Royal of Loch Sheldrake, NY and Gloria Cavaluzzi of Horton, NY; granddaughter, Aurora Valentine Kelly and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Kim Kelly in 2010.
Friends may call from 10 -11 AM on Tuesday December 24 at Church of the Nazarene in Rock Hill. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM at the church. Rev. Roy Shaffer will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot at Fantinekill Cemetery in Ellenville, NY immediately following the services.
