Cassandra Torres, a lifelong Sullivan County resident, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Orange Regional Medical Center after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was 36. She was the daughter of Pedro Torres and Rose Fleming and was born on August 18, 1979 in Harris, NY.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her father, Pedro Torres of Monticello; her mother, Rose Fleming of Liberty; her son, Justin Boyle of Monticello; her sister, Christina Klein and her husband Shawn of Liberty; her companion, Tom Parlapiano of Monticello and his five children and nephews, Collin Nietzel, Jacob Klein and Justin Klein, all of Liberty.
Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St. Syracuse, NY 13057.
