Christopher Williams, affectionately known as "Chris," was born on June 21, 1969, in Monticello, New York, to the late Hazel and Charles Williams. He peacefully departed this life surrounded by the love and memories of family and friends.
Chris was educated in the Monticello Central School District, where he graduated and began building the foundation for a life marked by hard work, kindness, and dedication. Known for his love of driving and traveling (as he would say "I'll never get on a plane") it came as no surprise that he pursued a career as a bus driver. Throughout his life, Chris worked for Shortline, Rolling V, and Leprechaun Lines, where he became well known and respected by coworkers and passengers alike. In 2022, Chris proudly fulfilled his dream of becoming a business owner when he established Chris's Car Service.
Outside of work, Chris found joy in fishing with his cousins and spending time with those he loved. He was a personable, laid-back man whose warm spirit and easygoing nature made him beloved wherever he went. His presence brought comfort and laughter to many, and he will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Chris leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife and best friend Angelica; his children, Shawn, Shaquille and Jazmine Williams, Adriana Lowe, Christopher Lowe, Shatik Smith(Ashalynn) and Jesus Lozada (Trina); and his cherished granddaughters, Jaylisa, and Naila & grandson Ashtyn.
He is survived by his sisters, Carolyn and Pamela; brother, Dennis (Tomasa); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Though Chris may no longer walk among us, his love, laughter, and legacy will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know him.
Memorial visitation will be held for Chris on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 3 pm - 5 pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A memorial service will begin at 5 pm at the funeral home.
