Craig S. Morris Sr., of Woodbourne, NY, was raised in Mountaindale, NY, and was a former garbage truck driver for Thompson Sanitation and a longtime resident of the Town of Fallsburg. Craig entered into rest on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, NY. He was 61.

He was the son of the late Carl Sr. and Darleen Morris and was born on February 16, 1965, in Monticello, NY. He was the beloved husband of Melody Morris, with whom he shared his home.

In his spare time, Craig loved spending time with his family and enjoying a man-sized house burger with chocolate milk on the side. He enjoyed watching wrestling every night, but he also loved SB Mowing and any car show, as these interests inspired him and reflected his love for old cars.

Besides his wife, Melody Morris, survivors include his daughter, Amanda Morris of Liberty, NY; his sons, Craig Morris Jr. and Tatianna of Loch Sheldrake, NY, Shane Morris and Erica of Woodbourne, NY, Mark Morris of Liberty, NY,Shawn Morris and his wife, Elena, of Loch Sheldrake, NY; and Daniel Morris and Amanda of Woodbourne, NY.

He is also survived by four bonus children whom he helped raise: Eddie Hatt Jr. and Nicole of Loch Sheldrake/Woodbourne, NY; Bobbie Jo Hatt of Woodbourne, NY; Willie DeGraw Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Woodridge, NY; and Fredrick DeGraw of Monticello, NY.

Craig is also survived by his siblings: his brother, Carl "Skip" Morris and his wife, Karen, of Liberty, NY; his sister, Tammy Miller of Loch Sheldrake, NY; his sister, Nicole DuBose and her husband Maurice, of Woodridge, NY; his sister, Kim Rivera of Florida; his brother, Troy Morris and his wife, Michelle, of Woodbourne, NY; and his brother, Paul Morris and Bea of Florida. He is further survived by two older sisters, Judy and Terry, as well as his sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-laws, Ashley Haag and her husband Karl "Rudy" of Grahamsville, NY, Shannon Farley and her husband Josh of New Berlin, NY., Terri-Lyn Castillo and her husband Jereme of the Bronx, NY., Fred Vaile and his wife Shaquilla of Monticello, NY., and Dakota Vaile of Newburgh NY., along with numerous grandchildren,nieces, and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Craig was predeceased by his in-laws: his father-in-law, Fredrick "Bug" Vail; his two mother-in-laws, Sarah J. Vail; and Jean Vail.

Visitation will be on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788, from 4-6:00pm.
