Danielle Tessora‑Dailey passed away on December 31, 2025, at Ellenville Regional Hospital after a long and courageous battle with kidney disease. Born on August 24, 1984, Danielle lived her life with a deep and unwavering love for her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend whose heart was always open to the people she cared for.
For 17 years, Danielle faced the challenges of kidney disease and dialysis with remarkable strength, resilience, and grace. Despite the hardships, her spirit never dimmed. She had a nurturing soul and a gentle presence that made others feel loved, supported, and understood.
Danielle cherished her family above all else. Her children and grandchildren were her pride, her joy, and the center of her world. She loved nature, had a special place in her heart for animals, and expressed her warmth through her creativity and artistic spirit. Danielle also knew how to embrace life fully—she loved to laugh, celebrate, and find joy in the everyday. She shared a deep and meaningful bond with her life partner of more than 20 years, Daniel Rose Sr., and together they built a life filled with memories, love, and laughter. And in true Danielle fashion, she proudly claimed “Team Jacob” and enjoyed every moment of her Twilight fandom.
Danielle was predeceased by her mother, Fern Burrows‑Tessora, and her son, Thomas Dailey. She is survived by her longtime partner, Daniel Rose Sr.; her children, Daniel Rose Jr. and Nevaeh Rose; and her grandchildren, Daniel J. Rose III and Charles John Nicholson. She is also survived by her father, Samuel Tessora Sr.; her siblings, Stephanie Reynolds, Giovanna Reynolds, Tanya Reynolds, and Samuel Tessora Jr.; her mother‑in‑law, Marie Rose; and many beloved in‑laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family members, including Gina Towne, Vinny Gress, Bonnie Rose, Robert Brooks, Charles Rose Jr., Annette Rose, Patrick Towne, Amy Towne, and Daisy Rose.
A celebration of Danielle’s life will be held in the spring. Her family asks that you keep them in your thoughts as they navigate this difficult time and honor the memory of a woman who loved deeply and lived with a beautiful, enduring spirit.
