David Allen Mizerek, Sr.

David Allen Mizerek Sr., of Swan Lake, passed away on June 16, 2025, at the age of 63.

He was the son of the late Edward Mizerek and Helen DeGroat, born on December 26, 1961 in newton, NJ.

David was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather. He shared 42 cherished years of marriage with his beloved wife, Brenda, a testament to their enduring love and partnership.

David had a deep love for the outdoors and spent countless hours hunting and fishing, often with his wife and children by his side. His passion for nature was matched only by his dedication to his family.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army, carrying the values of service and integrity throughout his life.

David is predeceased by his parents, Helen and Edward; his siblings, Louis Mizerek, Denise Mizerek, and Edward Mizerek Jr., Jodie Linda Mizerek/Arnet.

He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda, and their four children: Tina (Mike Fish) Mizerek, David Mizerek Jr., Lisa (Eric) Dale, and Melissa (Daniel Popet) Mizerek. David was a proud grandfather to Alicia, Melanie, Aaron, Bentley, Jasmin, Katherine, and Carter, all of whom brought immense joy to his life.

David will be remembered for his strength, his love of the outdoors, and the deep love he had for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
