Obituary of David Rainer David Rainer, of Rock Hill, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 49.He was the son of the late Stephen Rainer and Harriet E. McTaggart, born on December 21, 1968 in Long Island, NY.David had worn many hats, he was a tow truck driver for many years, he worked at Holiday Mountain as a lift operator, but most recently worked with Dave Olsen installing flooring. In his free time he enjoyed following the weather and had a real interest in meteorology, he was a good mechanic occasionally tinkering on cars, he enjoyed spending time playing video games and listening to 80's music, and loved the look of an old map. He was very fond of animals and was known to always lend a helping hand to anyone who needed him, and he truly loved spending his time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.He is survived by his sister Jennifer and her fiance Jeff; his longtime companion Priscilla Lowndes; nieces Jenna Ramrattan and Breanna Coven; his cousin Jayson Ross as well as his brother-in-law Bill Delaney. He is predeceased by his parents and his aunt May and uncle Charlie.Memorial visitation will be held from 6 to 8pm on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 55 St. John Street, Monticello, NY 12701. A funeral service will be held at 7:30pm at the funeral home.
