David Morris, Sr. of Monticello, NY passed away on August 21, 2024. He was 63.

He was the son of Mona Hatt Morris and the late Charles Morris born in Monticello on January 2, 1961

David’s life was marked by his dedication to his family. He was a proud graduate of Tri-Valley Central School. David spent many years contributing to the local economy and workforce at Resnick Equipment.

He leaves behind a loving family: His sons, David Morris, Jr. of Woodridge, NY, and Michael Morris of Tennessee; His mother, Mona Hatt Morris of Hurleyville, NY; two brothers, Rodney Morris(Sharon) of Ferndale, NY and a sister, Katrina Hagley of Hurleyville, NY. His “Best Cousin” Donna Hatt of Loch Sheldrake, NY and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. David was preceded by his wife, Jacqueline Marie Donnelly Morris and father, Charles “Sonny” Morris.

A celebration of David’s life will be held from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 NY 52, Woodbourne, NY,. Where his family and friends will gather to honor his memory and legacy. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
