Donna Berry, a Smallwood resident who moved to Sullivan County 20 years ago from the Bronx, passed away at her home on Sunday evening, June 14, 2015 with her family by her side. She was 64.
Donna was the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen Mecchino Ricker and was born on January 16, 1951 in the Bronx. She was a supervisor for Rehab Support Services in Middletown, NY and was a member of the Smallwood Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary.
She leaves behind her life partner Roland C. "Ronnie" Miller at home; children, Thomas Berry (Maria) of Dingman's Ferry, PA, Daniel Berry (Tisha) of Woodbourne, NY and Donna Lubinewski (Eric) of Washingtonville, NY; brother, Donald Ricker (Elena) of Carmel, NY; sisters, Carol Ann Curran (Joseph), Corrine Gabay and Denise Szola (Mario), all of the Bronx; grandchildren, Thomas Joseph, Angelina, Eric Jr. Aiden, Mikey, Landen, Trinity, Allie, Isobel, Conor and Jameson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass will be held on Saturday June 27, 2015 at Noon at St. Joseph's Church in Mongaup Valley. A luncheon will be served following the mass at Smallwood-Mongaup Valley. Fire House.
