Dorothy Parla, 88, of Ellenville, passed away peacefully on Monday April 6, 2015 at Achieve Rehab & Nursing Facility in Liberty, NY. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Vita Maria DiSenso Vittolio and was born on April 18, 1926 in New York City. She had worked for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union in Bellemore, NY.
Survivors include her two surviving sons, Angelo Parla Jr. of Accord and Michael Parla and his wife Barbara of Florida; five grandchildren, James Parla, Michael Parla, Veronica Parla, Richard Parla and Lauren Parla and three great-grandchildren, Danielle, Michael and Dominic. She was predeceased by her husband, Angelo and two sons.
Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY and her cremains will be buried in Las Vegas with her husband and son.
