View Tribute Book Dylan Michael Eidel passed away on Friday, May 26, 2023 after a short illness, in Hackensack Meridian Health Care Center with his family by his side. He was 47.He was the one and only devoted son of Michael D. Eidel and Sheryl A. Ebert, born on September 26, 1975, in Middletown, NY.Dylan was currently the Commissioner of Public Works for the Town of Fallsburg. He worked his way up the ranks from the first day he started working for the Town of Fallsburg many years ago. His hard work and determination were just some of the characteristics he was most known for. He was an avid outdoorsman, from hunting and fishing to taking nice long motorcycle rides with his dad. Many may have seen him working hard on the roadside when others may remember him visiting all the local pubs shooting darts. He was a current member of Mahogany Ridge Hunting Club and past member of the Woodbourne Hunting Club. Dylan was always willing to help someone and give the shirt off his back. To know Dylan was to love Dylan, he will be missed beyond words by everyone that knew and loved him.He leaves behind his loving and devoted parents Michael and Sherry Eidel, the love of his life Keri Ane Whitehead, his extended family, and a host of lifelong friends and a community that will miss him dearly.Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 2-4:00pm. A Funeral Mass with Rev.
