Edward J. Murphy, of Liberty, NY, passed away on Saturday October 26, 2013 at his home. He was 51. He was the son of the late Thomas J. and Florence Haugh Murphy and was born on June 14, 1962 in the Bronx.
Edward worked for the NYC transit Authority as a maintenance man.
He leaves behind his wife, Laura Duffy Murphy at home; a son, Phillip J. Hickey of New York State; a daughter, Kelly Ann Hickey of Walden, NY; a brother, James Murphy of Yonkers, NY and a sister, Diane Murphy of Yonkers, NY.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 from Noon to 2 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 2 PM.
Cremation will be at Cedar Hill crematory in Middle Hope, NY.
