Elinor M. Sklar
Elinor M. Sklar, a longtime area resident, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. She was 63 years of age. Elinor was the daughter of the late Victor and Bertha Abramowitz Greenwald and was born in the Bronx on December 9, 1952. She had worked as a secretary for Daytop Village in Swan Lake, NY.
She leaves behind her husband, Herbert A. Sklar at home; daughters, Carly Sklar and Deborah Sklar, both of Liberty and a granddaughter, Lindsey Travers of Liberty.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 10 AM to 11 AM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Funeral services will be a t 11 AM at the funeral home with Rabbi Endre Stamler officiating. Burial will follow at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Sunset Lake Rd. Liberty, NY.
