Elmer Davis, a caretaker for UTA Kiryas Joel in South Fallsburg, passed away on Sunday October 5, 2014 at Westchester Medical Center. He was 61. Born on June 2, 1953 in Monticello, he was the son of the late Corles and Helen Moore Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Hall Davis at home; sons, Leonard Davis and wife Charleen of Loch Sheldrake; Robert Davis and Kyle Davis, both of South Fallsburg; daughters, Rena Kalanick of South Fallsburg, June Davis of Monticello and Amanda Stoilov and husband Hristo of Monticello; brothers, Fred Davis and Gerald Davis, both of Woodbourne and Roscoe Davis of Wells, VT; sisters, Audrey Persicola of Woodbourne and Grace Curtis of Claryville and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call on Thursday October 9 from 7- 9 PM a t Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Friday Oct. 10 at 1 PM with Rev Carl Caskey officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery.
