Erminio Babich

Erminio "Mugsy" Babich of Livingston Manor passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. He was 88.
He was the son of the late John and Maria Nachinovich Babich born on September 22, 1932, in Cepic Italy.
He immigrated to the United States in the early 50's. One day he was sent to the Brooklyn Piers to pick up a young lady, this started a great love of a lifetime. Because of this meeting we all celebrate the life of Erminio and everything that followed. He gave tirelessly of himself at both the long hours of work cooking for many years at the Villa Roma for other families while missing his own. He never forgot the family back where he came from by going back frequently.
He is survived by his daughter Denise and her husband Enio, her son Thomas and his wife Diane and his adoring grandchildren Adrianna, Valentina, Vincent, Christine and Andrew. He is predeceased by his loving wife Marcella, his daughter Miranda, granddaughter Stephanie Babich Youmans and his brothers Mario, and Tony and his sister Tonka.
Visitation will be Today, Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Colonial Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758 from 11-2:00pm. There will be a funeral service at the funeral home at 1:30:pm
