Obituary of Eugene Dauch Eugene J. Dauch, of Harris, NY, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at O`Connor Hospital in Delhi. He was 89 years old.Eugene was born on December 18, 1932 in Livingston Manor, NY to Troy Dauch and Lola Kinney Dauch.  He proudly served our country in the United States Navy. Eugene worked at Bridgeville Black Top Plant, but had also previously owned and operated Gene’s Diner in Mongaup Valley with his wife Doris. He spent most of his life in Mongaup Valley.He is survived by his sister, Pat Dauch, his sister-in-law Gloria Applegate, and nieces and nephews Billy Joe “BJ” Goelz, Edwin Surrette, Jacquelyn Stevens and Henry Zucker. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Doris  Dauch, whom he cared for at home for years, even after a debilitating accident left him wheelchair bound.  He is also predeceased by his siblings, Arthur Dauch, Leona Surette, Lois Goelz, and Arnold Dauch and several nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 12-1 pm at Colonial Ramsay Funeral Home, 3534 State Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY, with a funeral service at 1 pm at the funeral home with Rev.
