Evelyn Virginia McAdoo of Woodridge, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026, at home. She was 71.

She was the daughter of Katherine Elizabeth Hilton Earls and Mark P Earls, born on March 17, 1955, in Albany, NY.

Evelyn, is an ambassador for Christ, embodying His love, grace, and spreading his spirit within to others in her daily life. She prayed for everyone; and loved her family and friends. She loved cats and listening to music in her free time.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her sister Rene Alexander-Johnson and her brother (Dennis) Vincent Everett. She is a loving mother to Jason McAdoo and Doreen McAdoo who predeceased her; her love for her niece Sirros L Johnson, and nephews Brock A Johnson and Austin P Johnson, and her extended family at ARC.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 10-11:00am and a funeral service will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home.
