Fannie Emrick Rose of Napanoch, passed away peacefully at home on January 1, 2026. She was born May 27, 1938, in Kerhonkson, NY.
Fannie graduated from Kerhonkson school, moving to Napanoch with her parents and sister, Judy, who predeceased her, then met the love of her life, Robert, who predeceased her July 2023. Fanny and Robert spent 65 years together, raising five children.
Fannie leaves behind her daughter, Barbara Slater and granddaughter, Katie; Her daughter Patricia Huffnagle, who predeceased her March 2025, and son-in-law Edward Huffnagle; Her Ex son-in-law, Daniel Curry Sr., and grandchildren, Daniel Jr., Thomas and Donald Curry; Her son Robert Jr. (Laurel), and grandchildren Mathew and Michael; Her daughter, Mary Green (Charles), and grandchildren, Stephanie, Tiffany, and Charles III; Her son, Arthur (Trisha), and grandchildren, Jed, Mel, Gabby, and Lexi; As well as many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Fannie for many years was the choir Director and organist at Saint Marks, United Methodist Church in Napanoch.
Fannie was also past president of the Napanoch Ladies Auxiliary and Ulster County Fire Ladies Auxiliary.
Services will be held in the springtime at Christ the King Baptist Church with Pastor Keith, in Warwasing, NY, and then proceed to Yagerville Cemetery. After the cemetery services, a gathering will be held at the Napanoch Firehouse Social Hall.
As per family wishes, donations can be made to the Napanoch Ladies Auxiliary or Christ the King Baptist Church.
