Felecia Pugh, a longtime resident of Liberty, NY, passed away on Monday July 17, 2017 at Catskill Regional Medical Center at the age of 83. Felecia was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Ella Graves Bumpas and was born in Reidsville, NC on July 30, 1933.
Felecia was a retired nurse's aide at Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty, NY. She was an avid Bingo player and did volunteer work at Catskill Regional Medical Center. She was the widow of William James Pugh who passed away in 1979.
Survivors include her son, James Earl Pugh of Jeffersonville, NY; her daughter, Anna Pugh Morgan of Ferndale, NY; brothers, Robert Lee Bumpas (May) of Massachusetts, Ervin Bumpas and Leotis Bumpas (Cassandra) of North Carolina; sisters, Rosetta Broadwater (Bert) of Massachusetts, Alma Robinson of Maryland and Barbara Kennedy of Endicott, NY; three grandchildren, Jacquelynne Marie Pugh and James Earl Pugh Jr., both of Jeffersonville, NY and Asia Harden of Washington DC; one great-granddaughter, Sherease Harden and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Felecia was predeceased by a brother, James Bumpas and a sister, Hazel McGill.
Friends may call on Sunday July 23, 2017 from 2 - 4 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 3 PM. Pastor Paul Minton will officiate.
