Felix Irizarry Castillo

Felix Irizarry Castillo, of South Fallsburg, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2020 Kaplan Family Hospice Residence.
He was the son of Juan Ruben Irizarry and Gladys Castillo, born on November 5, 1959 in Maricao, Puerto Rico.
Felix proudly served our country in the US Army from 1979 to 1980. He was a very "happy-go-lucky" person, who just wanted to see everyone around him happy. He loved to be active, you could often find him out for a run or dancing anything to keep moving. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him.
Felix is survived by his parents Gladys Castillo and Ruben Irizarry; his step-mom Rosa Santisban; his children Frances Irizarry and Felix Irizarry; his 5 grandchildren; siblings Nilsa, Ruben, Zaida, Efrain, Maritiza, Maribel and Benjamin; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his siblings Juanito and Awilda. Felix had a large family, all of whom will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held from 11 to 1pm on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A funeral service will be held at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery.
