Florence Sennett, a lifelong Sullivan County resident, passed away on Monday August 25, 2014 at her home. She was 83. The daughter of the late Edmond and Hazel Drennon Huson, she was born on May 1, 1931 in Neversink, NY. Florence was a retired Nurse's Aide and had worked at Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty, NY. She was the widow of Reavis Sennett who died in 1994.
Survivors include three sons, Charles "Buckshot" Sennett of Polk, PA, James Sennett and wife Joy of Jeffersonville, NY and Richard "Butch" Sennett of Parksville, NY; four daughter, Regina Milker and her companion, Peter Farrell of Liberty, Debbie Awny and husband Raouf of Loch Sheldrake, NY, Wendy Caruso of South New Berlin, NY and Kim Lopez and husband John of Liberty; a brother, Vernon Huson of California; sisters, Ruth Krumings of Philadelphia, PA and Helen Lovelace of Milford. PA; 74 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Harvey Huson.
Friends may call on Tuesday September 1, 2014 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Homes, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Funeral services will be at 1 PM with Rev. Kenneth Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow the services at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery.
