Francis "Frank" Hinton, 83, of Liberty, passed away on Wednesday August 20, 2014 at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. The son of the late Gaston and Martha Jordan Hinton, he was born on April 18, 1931 in Paterson, NJ.
A Korean Conflict Army Veteran, he resided in Liberty, NY for more than 40 years and retired from Village of Liberty Street Department.
Survivors include his daughter, Jacqueline Hinton of Vineland, NJ; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Francis Hinton in 1989.
Visitation will be on Tuesday August 26, 2014 at Ramsay's Funeral Homes Inc. 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY from 11 - 1 PM. Funeral services will be at 1 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Norman Graves officiating.
Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery following services.
