Frank T. Emmens, a self-employed contractor, passed away at his home on Friday June 7, 2013. He was 65. The son of the late Clifford Emmens and Lorraine Larussa Emmens, he was born on March 30, 1948 in Brooklyn, NY.
Frank was a Vietnam War Veteran and he was an avid sportsman, especially enjoying bowling, golf and pool. He was a member of the Sullivan County Pool League.
Survivors include his wife, Laurie Emmens at home; his daughter, Vanessa Kelder and her husband Fred of Swan Lake, NY; his sister, Elaine Scaillo and her husband Frank of Massapequa, NY; a grandchild, Oakley Kelder; his ever faithful companion "Sabrina" at home and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 11, 2013 from 7-9 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope. NY. Burial of ashes and graveside services will be held at a future date in Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery.
