Frank Felleman of Woodbourne and Monticello died peacefully on June 13, 2026 at the age of 86 in Goshen, NY. He is survived by his brothers George Felleman (Janet) of New York City, John Felleman (Virginia) of Syracuse, NY and Peter Felleman of San Francisco, CA, as well as by numerous nephews and nieces, along with an extended circle of friends and loved ones who honor his memory.
Frank graduated from Lakeland High School in Lake Mohegan, NY in 1957. He was a brilliant all-around student, and won a coveted full tuition scholarship to Princeton University. Following his graduation from Princeton in 1961, he attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he received his law degree in 1964.
Frank moved to Woodbourne, NY in the mid 1960's to join the law practice of Louis Scheinman, later Justice Scheinman of the Sullivan County Supreme Court. Frank spent his entire legal career in Sullivan County, both as an attorney in private practice and as a principal clerk for the NY State Supreme Court.
Frank had three passions: His family, the law, and bridge. He was a consummate bridge player and for decades participated in bridge groups, clubs, and tournaments throughout the New York area.
Frank was an incredibly decent, gentle, and loving man. He will be dearly missed.
