Genevieve Irene Fedyniak

Genevieve Fedyniak of Ulster Heights passed away in her home on July 15, 2015. She was 69 years old. Genevieve was the Daughter of Ilko & Maria Stupen. She was born in Eppenheim Germany on August 30 1945 and emigrated to the United States with her family when she was 3 years old. She grew up and went to college in Chicago, Illinois and later moved to New York. She was a kind and compassionate woman who had a career mainly in the nursing field. She enjoyed drawing and painting, growing flowers & plants, and the peace & quiet of the countryside. Genevieve is survived by her son and daughter, Markian and Myra Fedyniak, as well as brothers Fred and Alex Stupen; sisters Jaroslava Fleming, Stephanie Burtz, and Natalie Stupen, and her mother Maria Stupen.

A memorial service will be held on Friday July 24 at 11am at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church at 211 Foordmore Road, Kerhonkson, NY
