View Tribute Book George Louis Castillo of South Fallsburg passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was 66 years old.He was born in the Dominican Republic on July 14, 1957 to Cristiana Grullon and the late Manuel Castillo.George was a longtime resident of Fallsburg and a steeple at Sherman’s Garage for many years. He lived his life to its fullest, he was always there with a smile and a good laugh. He had a love for cars, traveling and most of all being with his family and friends. George always opened his heart and home to everyone. He enjoyed the company of people filled with animated stories and laughter. George was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, who will be missed but the memories of great times will always be remembered. He is survived by his wife Debra, children Shaun Castillo and his wife Breanne, Lisa Palmieri and her husband Glenn and Tina Lopez and her husband Juan. Papi was a wonderful grandfather to Addison, Jackson, Dalton, Camila, Claire, and Wells. George was loved by his mother Cristiana Grullon, siblings: Manuel and Numi Castillo, Hilda Castillo, Lucy and Joseph Sardonia, Lourdes Tangarone, Edward and Cathy Castillo, and Albert and Wendy Castillo, many nieces & nephews, and the close friends he considered family.He is predeceased by his father Manuel, his brother Louis and his wife Laura Castillo, nieces and nephews Brian Davidson, Mariana & Dominic Sardonia.  A Memorial Service to honor George will take place at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 12:00pm-2:00pm.Those who are not able to attend in person may view the funeral service HERE.  Arrangements were under the care of Colonial Family of Funeral Home, for further information please call 845-434-7363 or visit www.colonialfamilyfuneralhomes.com .
