Gilbert Pagan, a resident of Glen Spey, NY, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Achieve Rehab & Nursing Facility in Liberty, NY. He was 74. He was born on April 12, 1942 in the Bronx to the late Aracelio and Rita Berrios Pagan and was raised in the Bronx. He was a retired bus driver for the New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority.
Uncle Gil came from a wonderful background with both parents; our family is very large and he will be missed. He has a loving sister, Gladys Dillomis, who is devastated to hear he has passed away - she is 2 years older than he and is having a very difficult time coping with the loss of her only brother and is very sad that she is unable to attend the services due to ill health but will be there in spirit. He was looked after by friends of his James and Zaida Inzeo of Milford, P, ever since he became ill. Our family wants to thank these very kind people for all the help they provided for him.
Survivors include his sister, Gladys Dillomis Pagan of Corpus Christi, TX; niece, Deborah Dillomis of Corpus Christi, TX; nephew, Peter Gonzalez of Pennington, NJ; great-nieces, Melissa Walker, Samantha McSweeney and Emilia Gonzalez; great-nephew, Jeffrey Walker and cousins, Lydia Santos, Sonia Roberts and Anna Berrios and by friends, James and Zaida Inzeo of Milford, PA.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 1 PM at Glen Spey Cemetery in Glen Spey, NY. Fr. John Tran of St. Peter's Church, Monticello, NY will officiate.
