Gordon Leigh Miller Sr., 95, passed away on February 6, 2026. He was born on February 17, 1930, to the late Edgar and Jane Miller.

Gordon proudly served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953, where he worked as an aircraft mechanic. Following his military service, he spent many years working as a mechanic, security guard, and maintenance man. A hands-on man by nature, he enjoyed hunting, tinkering on cars, spending time at the Fireman's Park, and watching his favorite westerns. He was a loving father and grandfather who deeply cherished his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lillian Cross Miller; his daughter, Mary Jane Miller; his brother, Robert Miller Sr.; his grandson Jeff Beach; and his nephew Robert Miller Jr.

He is survived by his children: Ramona Miller; Martha Rojas and her husband Roy; Debra Ambrozevetch and her husband Ed; Penny Ackerley; Gordon "Dusty" Miller Jr.; Edgar Miller; Jean Jaffee and her husband Adrian; and William "Bill" Miller and his wife Jeanni; along with sixteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and his companion, Jeannie.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, located at 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, New York 12788. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with interment at Grahamsville Rural Cemetery to follow. A celebration of life will be held at the Woodbourne Fire House after the cemetery.
