Smith, was the third child born to Wilson and Rose Lee Smithon May 7, 1950, in Bamberg South Carolina.A Time to Rest...Resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Harriette C. Smithtransitioned into eternal rest on August 16, 2021.A Time to Live......The entire family relocated to Sullivan County in the 1950’s. Harrietteattended elementary school in Ferndale and Liberty, N.Y. She graduated from Liberty CentralHigh School.Harriette was employed at the Infirmary in Liberty, N.Y. for approximately 10 years. Later on inlife she became a monitor at Monticello High Bus Company where she retired. She was verycompassionate toward the children that she served.Friendship Baptist Church became her church home as a child and for many years as an adult.She enjoyed Bible study and singing with the choir. Her favorite book of the Bible was Psalms.She often quoted from the book of Psalms saying that it applied to all adversities in life. Sheenjoyed socializing with her friends and family, sharing conversations, music and good food.She could talk for hours on the phone, never lost for words. One of her favorite past times wasshopping especially at the thrift shops, that became a regular weekend routine for her.A Time To Love.....She adored her son Antwain, and looked forward to the times they spenttogether.Harriette was a warm, friendly, sensitive and caring person who would greet you with a smile,but adamant in her beliefs. She was always trying to encourage those that knew her in apositive way. She had a subtle sense of humor with an infectious laugh.A Time To Remember.....Harriette was preceded in death by her parents Wilson and Rose LeeSmith. Left to cherish her memory and continue her legacy are her son Antwain, her brotherWilson, sister Overta, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.In The End...
