Hosea Armstrong, Iii

Hosea (Ishan)Armstrong III, son the late Hosea Armstrong II and Kay Frances Netter Shaw, was born on October 31st, 1954, lived in Sullivan County NY along with his wife Tangela and son Niamake.
Hosea (Ishan) migrated from Harlem, NY to Sullivan County in 1992. When his Recovery Life began. During this period of time, he was instrumental in starting a group called "Sobriety in Action" which lasted for years. During this time, he was involved in a 3 men singing group "Natural High" which lasted for years.
Hosea (Ishan) fought a long hard battle with several illnesses. He left us on Thursday afternoon January 9th. Now he has No More Pain
His employment consists of working with the disabled population. Mobile Mec and Micheal Zeager as a debt collector.
He lives behind his wife of 30 years Tangela. His children: Cecil, Damien, Quaniqua, Saayid, Hosea, Charlie (Jessica), Tangela, Angela, Mariah, Niamake. Special Niece
"Christchelle" Brother: Rahiem, Sisters: Sunceray (Sunny) and Rev. Olivia (Libby) Armstrong. He leaves behind a host of: Great Grandchildren. Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews
Friends that he called family and friends.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Colonial- Ramsey Funeral Home, 275 South Main St. Liberty, NY 12754 from 11 am - 12 noon. A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 12 noon with Rev. Douglas Bowman officiating. Interment will follow at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, 171-181 Sunset Lake Rd. Liberty, NY 12754.
