Ida Giustra , a longtime resident of Monticello, NY, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty at the age of 94. Ida was born on January 18, 1922 in Norwood, NJ to the late Clifton and Minnie Handwerg Demarest.
Ida had worked as a secretary for an Architectural Firm in New York City. She was a member of the Grace Community International Church in Middletown, NY and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post #73 Ruddick Trowbridge Post.
Survivors include her son, Jeffrey Lawracy of Andover, NJ; daughter, Jean Enzman of Monticello, NY; grandchildren, Doris Brandt and Della Gruber and great-grandchildren Windber Brandt and Herbert Brandt. Ida was predeceased by her husbands, James Lawracy and Felix Giustra and a son-in-law, Paul Enzman.
Graveside services will take place at Sparrowbush Pine Hill Cemetery on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 2 PM. Ida will be laid to rest with her husband, Felix Giustra.
