Irene E. Carroll of Callicoon Center, NY passed away peacefully on December 21st, 2022. She was 77.
She was the daughter of the late Blanche T. Sullivan of Brooklyn, NY.
Irene worked for Sullivan County BOCES as a secretary until the time of her retirement. She devoted her life to her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all. Irene enjoyed the outdoors, jigsaw puzzles, bird-watching, and NASCAR.
She is survived by her husband William "Buddy" Romney of Callicoon Center, NY. She is also survived by her children: Matthew and his wife Peggy, of Cedar Falls, IA and Christopher and his significant other Regina Hartman, of Neversink, NY; granddaughters Makenna and Jordyn Carroll, of Cedar Falls, IA; and great-grandson Macklen Carroll, of Cedar Falls, IA.
Services will be held privately.
