Irene P. Davis

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Irene P. Davis, who left this world peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at Westchester Medical Center, surrounded by family. Born on November 1, 1961, in Suffern, NY, Irene’s life was a testament to love, care, and compassion.

She was a beloved daughter of the late Dwight E. Kearsing and Hazel P. Kearsing (n. Anderson) and devoted wife of the late Bernard H. Davis with whom she shared a beautiful love story that spanned nearly four decades.

She is survived by her children: Michael Diviesti (Malcolm), Kristi Miller (Jeffrey), Anthony Diviesti (Rebecca), Benjamin Davis, Pamela Davis-Acey, Rebecca Davis, and Keri Romero (Ramon).

Irene was a proud grandmother to Phoenix, Seth, Tessa, Oliver, Matthew, Lennox, Maxxon, Dominic, Anthony Jr., Michael, Destiny, Chloe, Hailey, and Aiden.

She is also survived by her siblings: Eugene Kearsing, Charles Kearsing, Michael Kearsing (Margie), and Dianne Fisher, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and close family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from 12-2:00 pm with a service immediately following at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788.
