James Kelly, of Loch Sheldrake, NY, passed away at his home on Monday June 29, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 53. The son of the late John J. Kelly and Elaine T. Staib Kelly, he was born on September 16, 1961 in Rockville Centre, NY. James has worked in the housekeeping department at Catskill Regional Medical Center before his illness.
He is survived by his companion, Denise Cron and her sons, Robert and Christopher, at home; his brother, John Kelly and his wife Lisa of Valley Stream, NY; his sisters, Maryellen Malone and her husband Joseph of Franklin Square, NY and Patricia Kelly of Franklin Square, NY; nephews, John Kelly and wife Jessica, Brian Kelly and Joseph Malone and wife Katherine and a niece, Katherine Tarascio and husband Gregory.
As per James' wishes, cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY. A memorial service will take place on Thursday July 23, 2015 at 2 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY.
