James T. Touhey, 77, passed away on Saturday April 8, 2017 at home. He was the son of the late Benjamin Touhey and Mary O'Brien Touhey and was born in Manhattan on November 8, 1939.
He retired as a driver for Unity Ambulette Service and had been active in stock car racing in his younger days. He raced at White Lake Speedway.
He is survived by his two sons, Robert Touhey and Timothy Touhey, both of Liberty; a brother, Howard Touhey of Ronkonkoma, NY and grandchildren, Michael and Nevaeh Touhey of Liberty. He was predeceased by his wife Karen Touhey in 2008 and by his siblings, Mary, Patricia and Timmy.
Visiting hours are on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 2 - 4 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 WS. Main St. Liberty, NY. Funeral services will be held at 4 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Minton officiating. Burial will follow the services at Liberty Cemetery.
