View Tribute Book Joan H Davis, blessed this earth August 24, 1943, but left us too early on January 11, 2022. Joan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She shined brightly and lit up any room she walked into.She is survived by her three sons, Claude E (Mary), Michael (Karen), and Lyle (Mollie) Davis, her grandchildren Claude W, Victoria, Zach, Tyler, Jared, Kya, Nicole, Cynthya, Kristina, Carly, and Ryan, her brothers Earl Utter and Robert (Linda) Utter, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband (Claude R) and parents (Earl Sr. and Josephine Utter).Joan was retired from the Department of Public Works (DPW) as a custodian in the adult care center in Liberty, NY. Previously, she worked as a housekeeper at the Edgewood Inn.Joan is someone that never hesitated to help anyone, and was there when you needed her, a grandmother that everyone deserved. Soon to be great grandmother to Amelia. She made the best dang chocolate chip cookies this side of the Willowemoc. Joan loved family gatherings; especially her weekly drink on Shandelee. She would love a good game of Rummy Cube with the seniors, and time with her affectionate dog, Dawg. Wish you were here to laugh at all our craziness and to watch an episode of Wheel of Fortune. May beautiful memories comfort all who knew and loved her.The visiting hours are Friday, January 14th from 7:00-9:00pm, and Saturday, January 15th from 12:00-3:00pm, with a funeral service at 2:30pm. This will be held at the Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home in Livingston Manor, NY.
