View Tribute Book John Michael Decker, of Woodbourne, NY passed away on January 17, 2023 at Westchester Medical Valhalla, NY. He was 52. He was the son of John Robert Decker and the late Lorraine Carol Lowell, born on June 4, 1970 in Pompton Plains, NJ. John worked for the Town of Fallsburg Parks and Recreation Department. He was a kind hearted man, who showed everyone compassion. He was also an "adrenaline junkie" who loved anything with wheels and speed and who was always ready to show off his stuff to the kids. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Sueann Smith; his father John R. Decker, step-mother Lorraine Decker; children Ashley Decker (David Ney), Amber Decker (Ruben David), Michelle Jonni Decker, Brittiany Smith and Thomas Daniel MacPherson; grandchildren Anthony, Areighanna, Jessica, Dakota, Hope, Savannah, Caydence, Michael, Ruben Jr., Harry, Jr., Ebony, Crimson and Hazel; as well as sister Danielle Decker (Mike Mcgrath), sister Linda Kleingardner (Lewis), half-brother Thomas MacPherson and step-brother Thomas MacPherson ; and several aunts, uncles, cousin, nieces, and nephews. Services were held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements under the care of Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, for further information call 845-434-7363 or visit www.colonialfamilyfuneralhomes.com To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of John Decker, please visit our Tree Store
