John C. Dicks III, a 20-year area resident, passed away on Monday February 29, 2016 at home. He was 62. He was the son of the late John C. Dicks II and Rose DiCristina Dicks and was born on August 23, 1953 in St. Albans, Queens, NY. John was a self-employed handyman.
He is survived by a son, John C. Dicks IV (Maria) of Peoria, AZ; daughter, Valerie Greenblatt and companion Lucas Graziano of Brooklyn, NY; brothers, Ronald (Joan) Dicks 1st of Staten Island, NY, Rocky Dicks (Gina) of Brooklyn and Ronald Bair (Christine) of Brooklyn; Sisters, Kathleen Bair of Swan Lake, NY, Helen (Michael) Perrotta of Vero Beach, FL, Arlene (Gene) Dalpiaz of Monticello, NY and Ruth Dicks Weiss (Ronald) of Swan Lake, NY; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are on Thursday March 3, 2016 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 3534 State Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 3:30 PM with Rev. David Coon officiating. Cremation will follow.
